Coaching is a constant relationship between the coach and the client. This relationship greatly increases the chances of success for the coaching client, because changing habits and creating opportunities is a process. It is the coaching structure that facilitates the process of personal, professional and/or spiritual development. The client and the coach agree that the coaching relationship is organized in common. As a communication technique or procedure, the confrontation process must follow a number of specific steps to ensure that the problem is not avoided or that the situation does not end up in a direct conflict. As a coaching tool, the confrontation process is very useful in helping a client take full responsibility for words and actions or actions not carried out in a very respectful manner. The procedure evolves as follows: confrontation is necessary when one perceives a discrepancy in the words, acts or between the words and actions of a person, specifically between the content of an explicit agreement or contract and the following acts or behaviours. For example, if you promise to repay a loan over a specific period of time and you fail to get the repayments, that person may rightly be confronted by the loaner party. The coaching contract is an agreement that sets the tone in a coaching relationship. This article will save you a lot of time by looking for everything that should be covered in your coaching contract. If the coaching you do is specifically related to your students` income potential (maybe you`re a career coach, or you`re teaching professional musicians how to market their talents), it adds an extra level of expectation, as there are now numbers and livelihoods on the line. A disclaimer of merit tells the coaches from the beginning: the only person who can control their earning potential is them.
We will not detail this relatively ”legal” level of contracting, but will offer a closer look at other levels of these essential skills in professional coaching. The work on the agreement aims to define the agenda of the meeting by listing the themes, objectives and themes on which the client wishes to focus, as well as the time allocated to each item. Although there are many types of coaching (personal, career, professional/work, etc.), it can use some common sections in your initial agreement. The 3 sections I would like to include at least: one of our goals is to make coaching much more accessible. The contracting process is a targeted frame of mind that is constantly present in the coaching relationship as a minute-minute modus operandi. It is so ubiquitous in the coaching process that the client, as a tool, is a method oriented towards success, that the client can take him home and reproduce in all aspects of personal and professional life, long after the end of the coaching process. In this context, the concept of contract and the coaching contract processes associated with it could be considered one of the most important coaching tools, providing lasting added value to clients. The need for a clear treaty is extremely important and can go a long way in defining the many important aspects that bring clarity and objectivity to the scope of engagement, as well as the removal of potential misunderstandings in the future about the evolution of the coaching relationship.
But it does not complement that skill. For some clients, the implementation of a meeting agreement is a challenging and challenging process that often helps to set important personal or professional priorities.
